ESL CLASS: INTERACTIVE TEACHING ACTIVITY
Grammar is the base of English language. Through grammar, ESL learner learns how to operate at the sentence level and studies the governance of the syntax or word orders that are the rules of the game in language. ESL learners not only engage themselves in games but also remember the rules of grammar topics. Students are productively engaged through models with tasks on it and they kinesthetically arrange themselves to learn a particular grammar lesson. Inductive interactive teaching grammar involves presenting several examples. Discovering grammar and visualizing how these rules work in a sentence allow for easier retention of the concept. The main goal of these grammar activities in ESL class is longer containment of grammar rules and to make an impression on students’ contextual memory.
