No Poly Bag Campaign: The school has taken significant steps to reduce its footprints and contribute to a cleaner environment. No Poly Bag Campaign conducted by our school students is a little step taken by school towards creating a better world. Students conduct awareness marches. The school is declared as a ‘No Poly Bag Zone’ by the Principal.
Save Environment Drive: The Eco Club is the most efficient club of the school. It works collectively to bring out eco-friendly projects such as Go Green marathon, making of Eco friendly mosquito repellants and inculcating the habit of using different coloured dustbins for varied waste materials and many more in the school. Many such drives related to stubble burning, say no to chemical fertilizers and sensitizing the public about Environmental issues are organized by the club. School organized many “Say No To Plastics” rallies.
Traffic Awareness: A child who learns about traffic rules and road discipline will grow up to be a law-abiding citizen. Every year Road Safety Week has been observed and seminars on traffic rules are organized. The employees of traffic police impart knowledge about traffic rules to children, van drivers and staff. We all get to know the latest changes in traffic rules along with the latest apps and numbers which they can use for safety and make us vigilant.
Waste Segregation Campaign: Waste Segregation Campaign conducted by school helped the learners to be aware of the process of collecting, storing, treatment and disposal of solid waste to render it harmless to humans, plants, animals, the ecology and the environment. Bins were set up for the different kinds of waste. Staff and students were educated on ways of disposal of waste such as recycling, reusing and composting. School strives to foster a culture aiming at alleviating the environmental and social problem caused by trash.
