Organic Farming Drive

Organic Farming drive

The Career Academy School set up a Farm Club as part of the integrated organic farming development project promoted by the government. Students are given vegetable seeds to grow their own food. The farm-to-school approach help children and families understand where their food comes from and how their food choices can impact their health, the environment, and their community. Students have also work on educating farmers about the ill effects of stubble burning, continuous use of chemical fertilizers, overuse of ground water reservoirs and about how to rejuvenate ground water. Every year on National Farmers Day, awareness drive is organised.
