Introduction to Middle Wing Curriculum (Grades 6–8)

The curriculum for Grades 6 to 8 is thoughtfully designed to provide students with a deep and thorough understanding of core academic subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Emphasis is placed on conceptual learning, critical thinking, and real-world application to lay a strong foundation for higher education and lifelong learning.

To cater to diverse learning needs, the school runs a dedicated Student Support Program (SSP). This initiative identifies students who require additional academic assistance and provides them with focused support, particularly in English as a Second Language (ESL). Trained educators offer personalized guidance to help these students strengthen their academic performance and gain confidence.

In addition to academics, the curriculum is complemented by a rich spectrum of co-scholastic activities that foster creativity and overall development. These include music, dance, technology, skating, and art & craft, offering students multiple avenues for expression and skill-building.

A key feature of the wing is the vibrant English Club, which plays a central role in developing communication and public speaking skills. Through engaging stage activities such as monologues, newspaper reading, debates, elocution, and dramatized recitations, students gain confidence in speaking and performing before an audience. The club also encourages participation in inter-school competitions, providing valuable exposure and experience in diverse speaking formats.

Furthermore, the school places special emphasis on the development of essential life skills through its unique Child Development Program (CDP). This program equips students with the tools to handle social, emotional, and ethical challenges by focusing on skills such as decision-making, empathy, teamwork, and leadership.
